Including PNC presents Live @ Lunch
PHILADELPHIA (May 27, 2016) – Starting Wednesday, June 1, the popular lunchtime concert series PNC presents Live @ Lunch returns to Dilworth Park as part of a series of free events produced by the Center City District. Continuing every Wednesday through July 27 and then again for eight weeks in September and October, these free performances will enliven the park from Noon until 1:30 p.m.
“The return of PNC presents Live @ Lunch at Dilworth Park brings with it the promise of warm weather and the opportunity for all of us to enjoy the park well into the summer,” said Paula Fryland, PNC Bank regional president for Philadelphia-Southern New Jersey. “Hosted just a short walk from our regional headquarters, we can think of few better ways to join in bring the community together than the PNC presents Live @ Lunch series of performances. We look forward to joining everyone at the park throughout the season.”
The artists for this summer’s Live@ Lunch at Dilworth Park represent the local music scene in Philadelphia, with nine weeks of live musical performances from area musicians. The singer-songwriters on this year’s schedule will perform all original music and lyrics that have garnered them a strong local following of fans.
