PHILADELPHIA, PA (November 2016)—The New Year always brings exciting things to the city, and this January ushers in one of Philadelphia’s most coveted traditions, Center City District Restaurant Week presented by TD Bank, Open Table and Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia. Restaurant Week twice-yearly gives diners the opportunity to enjoy the city’s best restaurants at discounted prices. This year’s winter event, which will run from January 22—January 27 and January 29—February 3, will offer a significant culinary variety from more than 120 participating restaurants.
Restaurants will offer signature three-course dinners for only $35.00 per person with select restaurants featuring a three-course lunch for $20.00 per guest, not including tax, gratuity, or alcohol. Restaurants will feature signature cocktails from partners Basil Hayden and Jim Beam Double Oak.
Reduced parking rates for guests of Center City District Restaurant Week are available at various Philadelphia parking facilities through a partnership with the Philadelphia Parking Authority. A full list and map are available on www.centercityphila.org.
New restaurants joining this January include Center City's Fine Palate, Rittenhouse Square’s Scarpetta and the new Baril, Old City's The Little Lion, Amis in Washington Square West and Osteria in Spring Garden. PHLCVB is proud to support Center City District Restaurant Week, which showcases Philadelphia’s nationally recognized culinary scene.
City-wide social media contests and activations will be announced soon, in which diners will be able to participate for a chance to win various prizes, including free dinners.
“We are excited to offer new opportunities for our guests this year, and we are so proud to continue to bring attention to Philadelphia’s robust dining industry and incredibly talented chefs,” said Michelle Shannon, Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Center City District. “We’re so happy that Center City District Restaurant Week continues to be a staple on the Philadelphia social calendar, and we’re happy to elevate the event for our guests each year.”
This year, Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia has teamed up with the Center City District to help diners make heart-healthy choices while dining out in restaurants. Check the Restaurant Week website for tips from cardiologists on staying fit while dining out.
