Exclusive happy hour discounts every Wednesday, June 5 ‒ August 28

PHILADELPHIA (April 24, 2024): This summer marks the 20th anniversary of Philadelphia’s favorite happy hour, Center City District (CCD) SIPS. Beginning June 5 and continuing every Wednesday through August 28, dozens of bars and restaurants will take part in the tradition by offering exclusive discounts found only in Center City.

Every week from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., dozens of venues will serve $7 cocktails, including specials made with Hornitos® Tequila, $6 wine, $5 beer and half-price appetizers. After 7 p.m., select locations will provide 15% off dinner. The full list of participants is located at ccdsips.com.

"We now recognize that in-person events and socialization are more important than ever and we are thrilled to continue this iconic event."

CCD SIPS at Dilworth Park presented by Hornitos® Tequila also returns this June. For the first time, CCD will introduce a limited-edition beer made in partnership with local brewery, Broad Street Brewing. SIPS Summer Splash, a Mexican-style lager with lime, will be sold exclusively at Dilworth Park’s Air Grille throughout the summer and will be available during SIPS for only $5. Additional Air Grille specials include $7 Hornitos® Tequila cocktails, $6 wine and $5 76 & Sunny beer, plus weekly food specials.

On June 5, 12 and 26, the Rothman Orthopaedics Roller Rink will be open exclusively for SIPS at Dilworth Park patrons. A rink ticket is required to skate and can be purchased at rothmanrink.ticketsocket.com. No food or drink will be permitted on the rink.

In commemoration of CCD SIPS’ 20th anniversary, Dilworth Park will host the official CCD SIPS Preview Party in partnership with Wooder Ice on Wednesday, May 22. The one-night-only event will feature exclusive SIPS pricing, live DJ entertainment, giveaways and activations courtesy of Hornitos® Tequila and Broad Street Brewing. The event will begin promptly at 5 p.m. and will continue until 7 p.m. Attendance is free for all guests 21 and older.

The Preview Party will also mark the official launch of SIPS Summer Splash.
